This side event featured a presentation and discussions with the audience of the main findings of the 13th edition of UNEP Emissions Gap Report. A key question of this year’s report is: what progress has been made in ambition and action since COP26 and how can the necessary transformations be initiated and accelerated? Transformations in the electricity supply, industry, buildings and transport sectors, as well as cross-sectoral systemic transformations of food systems and the financial system were covered.
