The interaction between science and policymakers is essential in finding ways to reach the Paris Agreement's goals. The ELEVATE project has established the Global Forum to Elevate Climate Ambitions to enable international cooperation and mutual learning between policymakers, advocates from civil society, industry actors, and world-leading researchers. The theme of the 3rd ELEVATE International Stakeholder Workshop facilitating this conversation is The Global Chessboard: Political Economy of International Climate Agreements.

The workshop focuses on the following topics:

  • The interplay between geopolitical shifts and international climate policy
  • Climate policy pathways to accelerate global action
  • The governance of Carbon Dioxide Removal
  • The impact of international trade measures: will the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism ratchet up climate ambition?

Registration is closed as we have reached full capacity.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to the ELEVATE Secretariat (@email).
